Aljaz Bedene vs Jo-Wilfried Tsonga

Aljaz Bedene will play against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the final match in Metz and we got best tennis prediction for today.

Aljaz Bedene is world number 76 and does not have won ATP title this season. In Australian Open he lost in the first round from Alexander Zverev and that happens also in French Open where he was beaten from Borna Coric and in Wimbledon from Matteo Berrettini. The Slovenian don’t play any Masters on hard before US Open but he played in Portoroz challenger and won it. In the US Open Bedene won in the 1st round against Jozef Kovalik and then he also eliminate Benoit Paire in the 2nd. In the 3rd he lost from Alexander Zverev in 4 sets. To reach the final in Metz Aljaz beat Rayane Roumane, Gilles Simon, Pablo Carreno-Busta and Benoit Paire again after he beat him a month earlier in the US Open.

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga world number 61 won his first title for the season in France in Montpellier. That’s his only ATP title for the season. On hard, the French played in Washington where he beat in the 1st round Brayden Schnur and in the 2nd Karen Khachanov but lost in the 3rd from Kyle Edmund. In Montreal – Masters he lost his first game from world number 39 Jan-Lennard Struff         6-2, 6-2 and then also was eliminated in the first round in the US Open from world number 69 Tennys Sandgren. Then he decided to play Cassis challenger in France and he won it. In Metz, he eliminates Pablo Andujar, Pierre-Hugues Herbert, Nikoloz Basilashvili and Lucas Pouille to reach his second ATP final for the season.

The two tennis players played only once so far in 2013 French Open where Tsonga won 3:0 in the 1st round. Bedene is  outsider and I expect him to lost from the French who will have the crowd support and show already that he can win titles in France.

Best tennis prediction for today: Tsonga to win
